This weekend, a spectacular suite located in central Atocha Street will become the venue for the Nomada Market, Madrid’s most important independent design fair. Nearly 150 designers will go to this fashion, design, art and music event. Doors will be open October the 2nd at 11am at Escaparate Atocha 24.
The best fashion and accessories designers, illustrators and fine artists will exhibit and sell their creations. Exclusive, limited and handicraft items are sold at reasonable prices. This is
a cool chance to take a fancy to a creative, special or different gadget without spending all our savings.
Nomada Market was born in 2005 with the aim of promoting independent design new talents. In its 4 years of life, this fair has become a meeting point for artists and alternative designers of the moment.
Beyond the simple buying and selling items, this fair is a very good scenery to establish contacts between designers and shops going.
At the beginning, this exhibition was held biannually but it has been extended to 4 fairs per year plus special exhibitions. This one is its XIII edition. Trying to offer the public a new and original fair every time, participants are renewed each edition.
The most selected names of Spanish art and design and the most prestigious brands, not only sell their products but decorate and enliven Escaparate Atocha 24.
Parades, performances, workshops and many more surprises
Escaparate Atocha 24 features a chill-out area where several shows and activities will be held. During the whole fair we will enjoy the Maderfaker’s Funk Club DJ Get a Felling sessions and many other surprises such as fashion parades, screenings, performances or workshops.
Escaparate Atocha 24 is an innovative two floors premises of nearly 1,000 m2. It will be transformed into a mall next spring. Fashion, accessories, bars, art, design, music and culture will coexist in these pioneering department stores.
This project aims to revalue a privileged located neighborhood and give the area the status it deserves, attracting young, modern and cultural artistic interests.
National brands such as Dolores Promesas, Laga o Divina Providencia have bet for this new mall.
